And Dravid (South India), Utkal (Orissa),

The Vindhyas and Himalayas, the Jamuna
The mountain ranges of Bindhyas and
Himachal (Himalayas)
And the Ganges and the ceaseless waves
of the Ocean
The restless waves of rivers Ganga
(Ganges), Jamuna and the oceans
All arise at thy fair name and seek thy
blessings,
All awake to the call of your name, seek
your blessings
Singing their hymn of praise to thee.
And sing of your glory.
Glory to thee, Oh Goddess of India’s fortune!
Oh lord of benevolence and destiny of the
people of India

Day and night thy call spreads over
the land
And we hear they voice of salvation,
Your generous and eternal invitation
pervades everywhere;
Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains, Parsees,
Muslims and Christians

Muslims and Christians come,
Come from East and West to the foot of
thy throne,
They come from east and west, assemble
by your throne,
Singing their song of devotion to thee.
And weave the garland of harmony
and peace.
